I am an avid walker. Nothing is more important to me than taking a brisk walk through the park or neighborhood. She jogs at least three times each week. I thought that she couldn't continue this kind of exercise during pregnancy but I was mistaken. My neighbor continued her jogging routine right up until the last month of her pregnancy. After that, she slowed down to walk with slow pokes like me.
There are times when outdoor exercise is not an option. Cold, wet weather or very hot conditions can be detrimental to a woman who is trying to exercise during pregnancy. You can seriously put yourself and your baby at risk for injury or illness if you work out in unsafe conditions.You can find just about any workout redesigned for a pregnant woman's needs and abilities. No matter how attractive these options may be, please make sure that you talk openly with your doctor about exercise during pregnancy.
