When it comes to intimacy in this millennium, you can't be too careful. In fact, the wrong actions wrong partner can lead to death. That's a pretty intimidating word there. This is why I'm so shocked that so many people still practice unsafe sex. Do they not keep an eye on the media? Are they literally living under a rock somewhere? I mean what's going on? Any fool in grade school now days can inform you on sexually transmitted diseases. Okay, so maybe junior high would be more correct. The sad thing is the folks who know and must comprehend these risks are still taking chances with sexually transmitted diseases.

When I think of sexually transmitted diseases in this day and age, I can't help but think of HIV. Is there even a person on this planet that doesn't know what this virus is? If by some chance there is, I will briefly explain. HIV is basically the virus that leads to AIDS. If you do contract HIV from your partner, then you will end up with AIDS sooner or later. This is acquired immune deficiency syndrome. It doesn't sound pleasant, does it? It basically destroys your immune system so that you can no longer fight off sickness. In other words you will end up dying from something as simple as a common flu. This is sad and tragic. However, it is our reality and there is still no cure. AIDS is amongst the worst of sexually transmitted diseases. Although there are many out there, only a handful lead to certain death.

It's imperative that everyone get educated regarding sexually transmitted diseases. This way you will know how to prevent such afflictions from occurring. One of the best methods of protection against sexually transmitted diseases is the male condom.
On the other hand, the best defense against sexually transmitted diseases is abstinence. Remember this the next time you're considering sexual intimacy.

Anyone can get better educated now days concerning sexually transmitted diseases. It's a synch because we all have computers and the internet.
