Exercise For Children
Things are different for my daughter. When I was young, I had wide-open spaces to play in, and I would often be gone all day with my friends playing in the fields and streams around my home. Most days I made it home for lunch, but this was only because my mom would come looking for me. I was never sitting still, and I always got plenty of exercise. My daughter isn't as lucky, as we live in the middle of a small city, and it is just not safe enough for her to be outside running around all day. We love to take walks, and this is one of the best ways to get exercise for children. She always loves to go anywhere with me, and this also gives her a chance to explore her neighborhood and to get to know those who live around us. This may help keep them active for years to come, and good health is one of the most important lessons you can teach them.
